The next Mailing Work Day held here at the YFC building is on Thursday, April 30th beginning at 9:00 am. We have a great team of volunteers who show up each month to help us fold and stuff our monthly letters or newsletters. How could we ever do this without all of you?Are you looking for a way to volunteer with YFC but don't want to work directly with kids? Mailing Work Day is a great way to get involved. Mark the dates on your calendar for Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th for our first YFC Flea Market! 9:00 am - 3:00 pm we will be holding a Flea Market on the lawn here at the YFC office. Come shop for great deals or rent a space to sell your own items.You can "rent" table space for either day or both days for just $10. Bring in your goodies to sell and earn some extra money. You will need to be responsible for your own table of items, for set-up, selling your items, collecting your own money and of course, clean-up and removal of your items when the day is done. Jot us an email if you are interested in participating and let us know if you need to use one of our tables or if you plan to bring your own- jlitts@cdyfc.org. The tables will be available on a first-come basis.
Did you know that we have a "Book Room" here at the YFC building that you can come to and browse through hundreds of Christian books? Hardcover books are $4 each and Paperbacks are $2 each. Most books are in great condition and would be good for Bible study, general reading or for gift-giving. We even have some sheet music, both single sheet and full songbooks.You can visit our Book Room any time during normal business hours. Call ahead to make sure that we are here! (518) 783-5332.Oh, one more important thing! We also take donations of books that are in good to excellent condition- both children and adult books. So if you are doing your spring cleaning, think about donating your books to YFC! All of the proceeds go to a good cause!
